Change-Your-Thinking for a Happy and Healthy Life

When I was a young lad growing up, my parents introduced me to the book "The Power of Positive Thinking", by Norman Vincent Peale. The direction my life took have been greatly influenced and impacted by that author, he helped me to change the way I think.

The way you condition your mind to think can be learnt by practice over time. Gradually change-your-thinking to being positive. Positive thinking is a mental attitude that expects good and favorable results. When you change-your-thinking to positive thoughts, your mind anticipates happiness, joy, health and a successful outcome of every situation and action. That mind will always see the brighter side of things.

Learning to think this way has empowered me to handle negative people and bad situations. It does not matter what the circumstances are, I practice to think positively and expect only favorable results from the situations. And guess what? circumstances do change accordingly. Some times it take long for the changes to take place, but eventually they do.

Our thoughts are contagious

. Have you ever been around some People and you just get a down and out feeling? On the other hand, think about the times when you are in some company, and how warm and pleasant the atmosphere was. Subconsciously messages are transmitted through thoughts, feelings and body languages.

Negative thoughts, words and attitude bring up negative and unhappy moods and actions. It stands to reason then, that positive thoughts brings happiness, brightness, success and even good health. "You can close the windows and darken your room, and you can open the windows and let light in. It is a matter of choice. Your mind is your room. Change-your-thinking and allow light into your room.

If the attitude is positive we entertain pleasant feelings and productive thoughts, and see in our mind's eye what we really want to happen. We walk with our head high and our voice is more powerful. Your body language shows the way you feel inside, and people are more willing to help us or listen to us if we are positive. They are quick to avoid us when we display negativity, unless they are negative themselves.

Negative thoughts destroy

When the mind is negative, you can develop disease in your body. Those negative thoughts release poisons into your blood and make you feel sad, hopeless and depressed.

So you get constant headaches, take pain tablets, which only make matters worse, because you are now putting literal poisons in your body. This is the way to failure, frustration, hopelesness and sickness. Change-your-thinking to positive ideas and thoughts and reap success.

Repititive Affirmation

Repitition is the secret of becoming an expert. In order to develop a mind that think positive, we have to engage ourselves in some inner work and training. Old habits die hard. Those attitude and thoughts that you harbour and cherish for years will not change overnight. "Positive thinking and negative thinking are attitudes. You have to cultivate this way of thinking every day. "Our happiness depends on the habit of the mind we cultivate. So change-your-thinking and practice happy thinking every day. If you want to experience lasting happiness, then you must develop the habit of displaying a positive attitude all the time.

Always try to see the posibilities in any seemingly unfortunate situation. Listen this, "In every difficult situation is potential value. Believe this, then begin looking for it". Train your mind

When a negative thought enters your mind, you have to be conscious of it and make the effort to replace it with a productive one. The negative thought will try continue to enter your mind, but you have to replace it again with a positive one.

It is like Paul the Apostle in the Bible who was struggling to live righteous. He said:"For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do". Read the rest in Romans: 7 from verse 14. Be persistence, it will gradually teach your mind to think positively and ignore negative thoughts.

Use positive words in your inner dialogues

Use positive words in your inner dialogues or when talking with others. When you fall back in the negative talk, correct and forgive yourself. Smile a little more, it will help you to think positive. Disregard any feelings of laziness or a desire to quit. Never think about giving up, if you persevere, you will transform the way your mind thinks. Change-your-thinking and change your life.
