Chronic-diseases can be prevented by changing to healthy habits
CHANGE YOUR BEHAVIOUR AND PREVENT CHRONIC-DISEASESI want you to understand beyond all doubt that a healthy lifestyle can significantly reduce the risk of developing several types of Chronic-diseases, such as cancer, diabetes, arthrites and hypertension. A recent study indicates that this protective effect is likely due to the influence of good life habits on the function of certain genes involved in the development of cancer. You can therefore influence your genes' expression and prevent Chronic-diseases through changes in risky behaviour. An impressive number of studies have shown that lifestyle plays a predominant role in the risk of developing several types of Chronic-diseases, whether it's cardiovascular diseases, type 2 diabetes, several types of cancers and even certain degenerative diseases, such as Alzheimer's disease. Many experts very often believe that these diseases are mainly caused by defective genes transmitted by heredity, these studies show, on the contrary, that it is possible to prevent the great majority of these pathologies by adopting a healthy lifestyle, based on a diet mainly made up of vegetables, regular physical activity and by not smoking. If you develop cancer it indicates that you have multiple nutritional deficiencies. These could be due to genetic, environmental, food and lifestyle factors. STRENTHEN THE IMMUNE SYSTEM To overcome the multiple nutritional deficiencies, you must change to cetain habits like regular exercise, stress management, adequate rest and and sleep, balanced diet including natural supplements that will strengthen the immune system. When your immune system is strong the cancer cells will be destroyed and prevented from multiplying and forming tumors. A lot of people ask, how can lifestyle play such a role on the risk of developing these Chronic-diseases? A recent study published in the American Academy of Sciences journal suggests these good life habits are not only associated with an improvement of several physical parameters (body weight, blood cholesterol, blood pressure), but also with profound changes at our cells' level, especially our genetic material. REDUCING ONCOGENES TO SILENCE: To examine the impact of lifestyle on the molecular level, researchers examined the expression of several genes in men with early-stage prostate cancer. Over a three-month period, these men, averaging 62 years of age, were subjected to an intensive intervention program, that included a diet consisting primarily of vegetable origin foods, combined with moderate physical activity (30 minute walk per day). After the intervention period, a prostate sample was taken from each participant using a needle biopsy, and the tissue was analyzed and compared with a prostate sample taken at the beginning of the study. By using extremely sensitive DNA enlargement techniques that allow to determine the level of expression of a large range of genes, researchers revealed important differences between the two tissues. Specifically, they observed the prostate samples taken after the experiment period showed an important reduction of the expression of more than 450 different genes, some of them being very powerful oncogenes. Some of these oncogenes (especially RAN and SHOC2 genes) are known to participate in the progression of cancer and constitute therapeutic targets for the development of new chemotherapy drugs. CHANGE YOUR BODY pHThese results are thus extremely interesting because they suggest that it is possible to reduce the oncogenic potential of cancer cells by adopting a healthy lifestyle that will make your body pH alkaline. When your body pH is acidic, it becomes furtile ground for diseases such as cancer, diabetes andhypertention. Dr. Morter's discovery of the powerful truth that when your body pH is alkaline, diseasesuch as cancer cannot exits. Likewise, Cancer cells cannot thrive in an oxygenated environment. Exercising daily, and deep breathing help to get more oxygen down to the cellular level. Oxygen therapy is another means employed to destroy cancer cells. LET'S DO SOMETHING:We must stop considering Chronic-diseases, such as cancer, as pathologies against which we are powerless. We have Natural Health Cures: God's Way for the Healing of the Body We have to stop being passive in the face of these diseases. By not smoking, eating well and exercising have multiple beneficial consequences on your organism and can alter the functioning of your genes.

Flossing your teeth every day could add 6.4 years to your life, according to Michael Roizen, MD, author of RealAge. Researchers say bacteria that produce dental plaque are somehow associated with the inflammation that occurs with plaque that blocks blood vessels and causes heart disease.
