Man-of-faith: Faith Without Work Is Dead
Hello My Health Conscious Fans
Faith without work is dead. I am Adrian Brown, a Man-of-faith. This is Sunday August 9, 2009 that I am penning this release.
I quit my job! Why, you may ask, how can you do that in these difficult economic downturn.
You may not agree with me, or you may never understand certain things and people in life. But some things and some people were totally condemned, persecuted and maligned in their time. And today they are revered.
Here are the main reasons I left that job,
- I'm a Man-of-faith, I believe in God, in myself and in you
- It was too stressful. Stress will kill you quicker that a disease
- I know I can reach and help more people this way
- I have an unshakable conviction that this is my purpose in life
- I realize that I'm more passionate about doing this
- I.m happier, healthier, wiser and relaxed
- This is a better environment to exercise my mind and grow faster for our health sake.
That's my summary of why I decided to call it a day at the 7 to 4 job. Mark you, I loved
what I was doing becaues as a school Guidance Counsellor, I was helping people solve
their problems and cope with life's challenges. But the stressful environment was making me sick.
This is our choice, that is, between myself and God, because I don't do anything on my own
before first consulting with my creator.
I started this website as a Man-of-faith, because my life was physically transformed, thanks to the healthy lifestyle
I chose to live. All that started because of a condition that took me to the doctor. You can

and the wider community, that you do not have to suffer many of those lifestyle
sicknesses that affect us all so much.

Your 101 tips for Rest, Exercise and Diet to turbo-charge your health. Here are some examples from the booklet
Rest
11. Adhere to the three environmental basics of good sleep: One, be sure your room is as dark as you can get it. This may mean additional blinds, blackout
curtains or a sleeping mask. Two, your bed room must be quiet. Additional
drapes or a white noise sound equalizer may help. Three, it's important that your
bed room is cool and comfortable. The temperature should be 68 degrees or
less.
Exercise
22. 30 minutes a day. Get at least 30 minutes of aerobic exercise 3 or 4 times a
week. Walking is an excellent alternative to running. It gives you the same benefits
without the high-impact movements that compress disks or twist ligaments. Stretch
before and after exercise to prevent injury and strengthen you back.
26. Beat depression: Move your body and heal your mind. Research shows that
exercise can prevent depression, and help people already having mild to moderate
symptoms of depression. During exercise the brain releases endorphins, the
hormone that cause pleasurable sensations and elevate mood.
Diet
65. Consume more colored fruits: Like oranges, pineapple, tangerines, peaches,
papaya and nectarines. These fruits that are orange and yellow in color are high in
antioxidants, especially Vitamin C, and help to improve the health of the mucus membranes
and connective tissue. They reduce the risk of heart disease by improving circulation and
preventing inflammation.
