My-personal-journey: How I Changed My Life

My-personal-journey to success is a daily routine. Everything we do either add to our success or deplete it some more. I'm not sure who said this but it's reality "Success is journey, not a destination".

There is no free meal out there, if you don't pay for it, someone else does. You can change your life and fulfill your dreams, but with every dream there is a price attached

Names have meaning

My name is Adrian Theophilus Brown. I don't know why my parents gave me that name,I don't even know if they knew the meaning, but I'm thankful. When I'm introducing myselfI included my middle name - Theophilus, and persons usually giggle, because some say it sound funny and old fashion. I use it because that's the name I know the meaning of and love the most.

It's derivation is from Greek which means "Lover of God". I cannot love like God, but I'll surely try. My-personal-journey is love for people, to help people, I believe has something to do with that name. I always want to make a positive difference in the live of others.

My life's journey so far

But I didn't see how I could do that in my "little community". I grew up in rural Jamaicain a district called Long Bay. My home was a very small house, without electricityor piped water. In My-personal-journey, what took me from there to where I am today is the belief that I havein God, in myself and in others.

When I completed my secondary education, and decided that I was going to be trained for the teachingprofession, my parents had high hopes for me, but that was all they had, they could only wish me well, and their "well" had neither water, oil nor silver, if you know what I mean.

My-personal-journey has loving memories for my parents. Although they had no money, they gave what they had to everyone, compassion, care, love and their time. They used to say: "what goes around comes around", and that sure did for me, because I received my tertiary training through the kindness, love and compassion of those lives my parents touched.

Making the right decision

Working as a classroom teacher was not giving me the fulfillment I was longing for. If you are doing something that you don't enjoy, you are operating without a sense of purpose. I wanted to have more directhands-on approach in helping others.

As a result, I decided to change my career from a teacher to a Guidance Counsellor. As I recall My-personal-journey, I decided to study at a Seminary to get a wider view of the deeper things of life. That was the best moveI could ever make, because there I met and married the most wonderful lady in the world.

Those training and experiences have helped to shape my world view, my philosophy, my way of thinking. I have never seen myself as a writer, so Guidance and Counselling as a career blended well with thatshortcoming, since I don't have to do a lot of writing.

Therefore, for me to have a web site that I build myself, I believe is almost incredible, (This takes a lot of writing). This all become possible because of the belief that I have in myself, and the desire for success.

Born to succeed

I believe in myself because one of my teachers told me once, he said, "Adrian, you are born to be successful".I don't know why he said that, but I believed it.

Therefore, for me or you or anyone else to be successful, we must believe in ourselves. We must also understand what is success. To begin with, success isnot a means to an end nor a destination or a place to get to.

What then is success and where is it to be found? I will answer that with a quote of one of my favouriteauthor: "Somewhere in your make-up there lies sleeping, the seedOf achievement which, if aroused and put into action, wouldCarry you heights, such as you may never have hoped to attain.

Just as a master musician may cause the mostbeautiful strains of music to pour forth from the strings of a violin, so mayyou arouse the genius which lies asleep in your brain, and cause it todrive you upward to whatever goal you may wish to achieve."
Napoleon Hill: 'Think and Grow Rich'.

Success is a process, it is fulfilling your purpose in life every passing day, in everything you do.

I have the burning desire to thrive and achieve whatever my purpose in life is,because I was told that I'm going to be successful, and I believe it.Success lies asleep in all of us, just waiting for some outward expression through our actions.

Fulfilling my purpose

These actions must be driven by our purpose. My purpose is to make a positive difference in people's lives. My purpose is not a destination, but rather a process that I am thriving to become better at, every day in everything I do.

Because I believe in myself, I have surprised myself many time in life. Things that I didn'tknow I could accomplish, I did, because I didn't look for excuses, I looked for a way.The only limitation we have, is what we place on ourselves. So I decide what I want and go for it.

What do you want, who decide that for you? maybe your parents, your grandparents or even the society. If you are going to be successful, you must start to think decide for yourself, what you want in your life. Success is not about making money. Society has deceived most of us to have the wrong concept for the purpose of money, andso many people spend their whole life trading their time for money.

Money is not all that valuable for you or me to spend our entire life running after. Don't get me wrong, money is very good, it's absolutely necessary. Everything we do cost money, but it should not be the drivingforce that propel us to do something. That's the wrong approach, it might generate greed.

My life is far more worthwhile living by spending time thinking how can I make someone life better, happier, fuller and complete. That's how the concept of developing a web site was conceived. I saw how I could reach so many more persons with my message of how to live a health conscious life.

Unnecessary suffering

The reality is, too many persons are suffering unnecessarily, especially in the area ofpoor health. I have been a health conscious person for over fifteen years now. But my real turningpoint came when I became ill, suffering from rectal bleeding because of constipation.

I was constipated to the point where I had to use my hand to assist my rectum to pass out the waste. I hope I'm not too graphic here, I just want to describe how much I was suffering.

I would often times see blood in the toilet bowl, but what got me really frightened and scared was one day in 2002, after struggling to pass my spools, all I could see in the bowl was blood. I rushed to doctor, he examined me and used a big word to describe my condition and told me that I have to live with that for the rest of my life, wow!

I left that doctor's office and I said to myself (not to the doctor) you are a liar, and I never set foot in that office again. With my limited layman understanding, I knew that could never be so.

I'm not knocking any medical doctor now, because they are doing what they know best, that's what they were trained to do. But you and I need to know that there is always a another way, often times a better way.

I found a doctor who do not prescribe drugs nor surgery, and I am now a walking testimony. When I go to the toilet now, I enjoy the experience and raise my hands to heaven and give God thanks. Those same hands that were held down there to deliver me from suffering.

The process continues

I'm not anywhere near what I want to be yet, its a process, but I don't get sick any more. Even the flu that use to affect me a few years ago, doesn't visit me anymore. What I'm presently working on isremoving all the toxins from my body, a total body cleanse.

Did you know, the main reason you are sick isbecause of the amount of toxins in your body, and the main cause for so much toxins in you, is the amountprescribed and non-prescribed drugs you are taking.

Drugs don't cure the cause of our problems, they only suppress the condition to give you temporaryrelief (sometimes), but the root of the problem is not touched, so it resurfaces in different places and forms. You have to realize that being sick in not normal and it is not the natural state of your body.Sickness means that something is wrong, your body is dis-ease and out of balance.

Right now, you either have some known illness or disease such as cancer, diabetes, obesity, arthritis, etc.or you may claim to be healthy. If you claim to be healthy, you may still suffer from the occasional headaches, colds and flues, indigestion, heartburn, aches and pains, etc. and you believe that these conditions are "normal".

They are not normal, a healthy person has little or no body odor, no bad breath, their urine and stools do not smell, they are not depressed or stressed, they sleep soundly.

(Kevin Trudeau, Natural Cures:p.115).

I rarely, if ever, get colds, flues, heartburn, aches and pains.I'm full of energy and vitality and never have to take any nonprescription or prescription drug.Because I don't have any symptoms that require me to take any drug.

Not by chance, but by CHOICE

I reached this stage of my life not by chance but by choice. I have made decisions to change my lifefrom what is was to what I want it to be. In all of this, I'm fulfilling my purpose.

If you can grasp this idea, you'll be successful too, and it's this: "everything that's wrong in your life you are the cause of it". Do you get that, do you believe it? That is so hard for most people to understand because they always want to point thefinger somewhere else.

The number 1 most important thing

If you want to live a fulfilled life, a happy life, a successful life, the number one most important thing you could ever do is to take personal responsibility for everything that happens in your life.

You can't have a "victim mentality". You can't have "nothing is going on for me" mentality. You can't have"everything bad happens to me" mentality. You need to take control of your life, or be a victim all your life.

You need to take 100% personal responsibility, because guess what, the reality is, the government is notgoing to take care of you. Your friends are not going to take care of you. Your family does not have the responsibilityto take care of you. Your boss does not have the responsibility to take care of you. Society is not goingto take care of you. No one is coming to the rescue. You must, you must take personal responsibility for your life.

The secret of happiness

Success is not about getting, rather it's all about giving. If you want to be happy, just learn how to give to others without counting the cost. When you give, it will come right back to youin double, triple or more portion.

In order to go forward into a successful future, you must release and let go the past that is holding youback. I did that successfully with the help of one of my mentors, David Neagle, he said:"Your past was essential for you to become who you are andprepare you for what you are going to do now and in the future. However!! You need to let go of anything that might be affectingnew decisions you will be required to make.

It is also important to let it go in a healthy way. Remember this, whatever you don’t express you suppress, and that will make yousick. Everything suppressed will find an unhealthy way to expressitself with and through you. This is called dis-ease, which is a bodynot at-ease. Health is the natural state for your body to be in.

In order to give healthy expression, practice writing out yourthoughts while letting yourself experience whatever emotions thatgo with it on paper. What needs to come out will come out on thepaper. Then take that paper and burn it while you forgive everyoneand everything on it. Just let it all go and release every person, situation and circumstance to their highest good."

The rest of our life begins here

So, where are you in living out your purpose?, in fulfilling your dreams? You must discover YOUR HIDDEN Purpose. This is the one thing you must change if you want success without unnecessary struggle!Your purpose explains why you are doing what you are doing.

Are you enjoying what you are doing? do you have a passion for something that youfind fulfillment in doing? I told you that I build this web site myself, but technicallyspeaking, that is not quite so.

The fact is I know very little about computer. But as I saidbefore, if there is no way, I find a way. Before I built this site, I spent twenty five thousands J.dollars to have a web site built, and the long and short of it, I lost the money and the site.

I found a way

It was by searching the web one day I came across this site called SBI, which meansSite Build It. So when I say I built my web site, it's like someone making a house, but all the materialsare provided, labeled and packed away. All he needs to bring to the table is "Brain And Motivation".

'BAM', he has a web site, can it be that simple? if you don't believe me try it, click on video tour and get a clear view how it works, go ahead now and look at it before you read any further.

SBI help you find the perfect topic for your site, where ever your passion lies. They teach you to build your site even if you can only turn on a computer, to get traffic to it, and then they even teach you how to make money with it, no matter what it is about!

I must confess however, in the beginning this is a lot of work. But keep in mind that doing something that I love never feels like work. In My-personal-journey,I do it in my spare time. I decide what pace I will go.

The main thing is, it's totally risk free. SBI has a full money back guarantee, although I don't see what I'vespent as much, comparing to what I threw away trying to build a web site before. Have a look and see if you like it, who knows, it could just be the answer you are looking for.

So, what are you waiting for?, try SBI, you cannot change what you are not aware of. Inform yourself and take action, successful people take action now, they don't wait until tomorrow because tomorrow never comes, it always turn into today.

If I can do it, ninety percent of the world's population can do it, and the mere fact that you are readingthese words simply mean that you fall in that ninety percent.

“When opportunity came, it appeared in a different form and from adifferent direction than he had expected. That is one of the tricks ofopportunity. It has a sly habit of slipping in by the back door, and often itcomes disguised in the form of misfortune, or temporary defeat. Perhapsthis is why so many fail to recognize opportunity".

Your Health

Haemorrhoids.

Since the condition of hemorrhoids almost always tends to get worse over the years, safe, gentle, and effective treatments are recommended as soon as they occur.

Hemorrhoids are classified into four degrees, for convenience, many physicians use a grading system in describing the severity of internal hemorrhoids:

First-degree hemorrhoids: Hemorrhoids that bleed but do not prolapse.
Second-degree hemorrhoids: Hemorrhoids that prolapse and retract on their own (with or without bleeding).
Third-degree hemorrhoids: Hemorrhoids that prolapse but must be pushed back in by a finger.
Fourth-degree hemorrhoids: Hemorrhoids that prolapse and cannot be pushed back in.
Fourth-degree hemorrhoids also include the condition that are thrombosed - containing blood clots - or that pull much of the lining of the rectum through the anus.
